The grapes are destemmed & crushed before vatting. The grapes used for this cuvée require more extraction to enable the best balance between intensity of the fruit & structure of the tannins. Aged 12 months in new french oak.

The wine offers a complex bouquet of ripe wild fruit, blackcurrant and well balanced oak. The wine is full bodied with a long and toasty finish, evoking flavors of light tobacco, licorice and mocha on the palate.
